I just loved the idea of preserving the whole music roll and the box.
I used drawer pull knobs on the box for legs.

I found this player piano roll and just had to do the challenge. This did create a challenge just making all the pieces sturdy enough to create a lamp. I unrolled the piano roll so I could use it on the lamp shade and then re-rolled the remainder. I like how the light shows through the perforations on the lamp shade.I put drawer pull knobs on the box for legs, wired it up and put modge podge on the whole thing to help preserve it. PLAYER PIANO ROLL LAMP!
