found this 2 weks ago at the auction. It's pretty, but I just wish there wasn't so much rust on it. Is there any way to clean the rust off w/o damaging the paint?

QueenofGreen writes: I had the same situation with a vintage Hostess Fruit cake box. I left the rust alone and shiny-ied up the tin by spraying clear poly over the entire piece. I relly love the shiny/dark contrast, now.
