Have bed, will travel!
The fabrics came from a local discount fabric outlet. The back pocket is great for toys or brushes.
I covered the buttons with the coordinating fabrics to tuft the cushion.
I covered the ribbon lid stops with stitched on doggie-themed ribbon from the craft store.
The feet screw through the bottom of the suitcase into these wooden plaques, so they can be removed and placed inside for travel. The paws covering the holes are metal paper brads from the scrapbooking section.

I used one of the many vintage suitcases that I've acquired at thrift stores to make this doggie bed for my aunt's doxie last Fall. The feet are drapery finials, the cushion is removable, reversible, and washable. I used scrapbook elements for a fun personalized bed for Miss Sassy.
