Distressed wood top

With a great weathered patina from years on the farm these vintage Berry Baskets make a quick picture frame. What better place for the Basket than on a vintage Wire Grocery Cart turned into an End Table with the addition of a wood top.

MimiToria writes: These are two great projects you've shared with us all. Love the cart. I have one in the garage that my husband despises, as it takes up precious room in the garage. I don't think he'd like it if I moved it inside though. I however, think this is very cool.

Thanks for the great ideas.
I use one of my grocery carts to bring things from the car to the front door, but I could certainly use another to make a table. Maybe fill it with all the books stacked by the chair!
Great work!

whiteflower writes: Two great projects. I love the industrial look of your table, and the distressing job on the top. What is the color of the great blue paint? Lori Posted: 7:32 am on February 2nd
Junk_Sophisticate writes: Fantastic idea! Sweet and easy. Now the table on the other hand, is a conversation piece if I've ever seen one. Awesome work as usual!

georgiamoon writes: That table is the cutest thing I have EVER seen in my WHOLE life. And I've seen LOTS of stuff. And I think that you may be one of the clever-est (not a word, I know) people I have ever met. Even though I haven't really MET know what I mean. Very, very, cool projects! Love them both, Georgia Posted: 2:39 pm on February 1st

Now I am anxiously awaiting your piano roll project..weren't they just about the hardest things ever to work with!?! The music box was about my fourth attempt at a project, and I am so glad to be finished with them. (ha,ha)

LuAnn writes: Great job. These are definitely available everywhere. As a matter of fact was at a farm auction last summer that had stacks of these that NO ONE wanted-not even me. Guess I passed up a great find.

suewhitney writes: Wow, aren't you a clever young man! Love this idea for sooo many reasons. Everywhere I go I see berry baskets, they are inexpensive, and needed a good idea for re-purpose. You just showed a great one that everyone can do. Love the table too. Thanks, Jim!

Take care,
