Transformed Bathroom Cabinet

I traded one book, The First Forest, a book my husband wrote, for a topless, knobless bathroom cabinet which I transformed with new glass knobs and an antique soap crate end (see photo insert) for a top.  I had to add a stained 2X4 board to make the soap crate fit the 12 X 12 size of cabinet. I glued and nailed the altered crate end to the cabinet and it has become one of the most commented on pieces in our home.
