Corner shelf from old door

Here's another example of how the same idea you've seen before looks different in the hands of a different crafter and by using different materials.  I've seen similar projects beautifully painted and with wonderful details.  But sometimes you don't know what you'll get until you jump in.  I chose this door because I wanted one that was solid down the center from top to bottom.  Most don't fit that description so I had few to choose from.  It was not a problem.  As soon as I started sanding this old door, all these great colors started to appear and I knew  the door would be the star of the project.  So I used simple shelving and few details.  The result is a primitive but beautiful looking corner shelf that is also pretty easy to build.
