The lovely miss galaxy girl..that i made last night from some old x-mas tree stands for her skirt and base, a vintage hairpin table leg for the legs, 50's auto glass bowl fuel filter for the head, with a vintage doll head inside and vintage doll arms, snare drum lugs for feet, and a few other odds and ends. She was set up on a blind date with a shiny chef robot, but he is not really her type...she likes shorter robots and not so flashy. I took this pic before they left on their date, but she really just wanted to go home instead.

ultrajunk writes: Hello Everyone..thanks for all the great comments about miss galaxy, seems she has caused quite a stir. I don't know if i have the heart to sell her yet, she has really grown on me. I think she is one of my top 3 favorites that i have created. Wow and I even got the spotlight feature...thanks Sue, and the whole junk market gang, really glad you like her. Now Georgia...it wasn't me who set her up on the date, it was my other robot, getting back at her as she gave him the cold shoulder and he thought it would be funny to set her up with that big ol shiny lug..lol.

georgiamoon writes: Now Damon, matchmaking is dangerous and unfulfilling work. I know, I have created many disasters while just trying to help. She a darling gal and can probably find her own dates. You did an amazing job on her and I loved going through the list of items you used. You always have such different stuff...must be that cool salvage yard you haunt!Georgia Posted: 3:11 pm on January 23rd

Great work once again!

junkermidge writes: Are you kidding me?! That is so AWESOME! She is amazing. And she is WAY to cool for shiny chef robot. He looks like a bit of a brute. I hope she did end the night early. She looks like a smart, independent woman who could find her own fun --hopefully in her junk workshop!
Way to Go!
