Fire Place Dress Up

We love old porch posts !!!! I cut this one in half and about eight inches off each base to fit them on the sides of the fire place to add visual interest. The original face and wall of fire place was dark panneling so with a little paint a saw and some glue a new look using vintage posts. Also on top of the old Radio we used the cut off portion of one posts to perch a little area lamp on.
