The blushing bride!
The happy groom!
And a few other projects...

This old salt shaker was perfect to show off this wedding picture (bought with a bunch of cards, etc. at an estate sale).  I tore the edges and rolled it up to fit inside.  I used the knitting needle again to open up the pic and put some tiny pearls inside to add a little something.  A vintage earring was used to seal the top, and another one to dangle from the side with wired ribbon - wouldn't something like this make a great anniversary gift???  And, of course knowing the couple inside would make it really special! :)

shabbychick writes: Thanks Cynthia - (late response sorry...) I wound it up very tight. Next time I'll scan the pic - thinner paper would fit in easier I think.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of your versions of this project - for a wedding, anniversary, graduation, etc...lots of possibilities!

Leaving for our antique show in the morning! Take care!

Junk_Sophisticate writes: Oh, this is lovely Kathy. I can picture shakers placed on guest tables at a wedding with scanned copies of the current bride and groom's parents and grandparent's wedding photos inside. How beautiful would that be! I have a couple friends that have a wall of wedding photos of their family along with their own. I'll have to share your idea with them.

Beautiful work as always.
