I bought the one with the birds and the small one w/ dragons at Salvation Army a couple years ago. Then a friend gave me the peacock fan, and then this past week at the auction I found the parasol w/ pink flowers for free in the trash.

I think they're pretty, but they really don't match my decorating style anymore, so Ive just been keeping them packed away.

We need to start a 'junk trading' site where we can all swap and/or sell stuff we find and don't use.

So if you really love them, pack them away until maybe Easter or a special party like a baby shower and use them in seasonal decorating. If you have a covered porch they would be pretty hanging upside down in the summer. I say keep them! Posted: 8:33 pm on January 21st

These would be beautiful hung from the ceiling in a room !

I also agree that a swap / sell would be fun - I constantly pick up things that are really not my style or my collecting thing just because I KNOW that someone somewhere would really really like it - I now have all kinds of little bits of "stuff" I'd love to give to someone who would really appreciate them!

THanks for the ideas! I see you're in Chestertown, is that Maryland by any chance?! Posted: 6:09 pm on January 20th
