Another find from the auction. My little cousin was w/ me and when I picked these up he was like "what are they?" and I said "I have no idea, but I can't leave them here".

So now I look at them everyday and try to imagine how to use them.

Ideas anyone?

ilovetobemom writes: Paint them a coordinating color of your kitchen. Tack old vintage towels or fabric from the old 1950 table clothes in the square section. Don't worry about the spokes, cover them up. Then attach old anti antique plates on the top part and hooks on the bottom for mismatched tea cups. Posted: 11:40 pm on March 11th
outofthebox writes: I can see these as a curtain rods/valances. Hang front lower than back (part againt the wall) so that you can see the beautiful wood(like an awning). Then side curtains can be hung from legs. You can either hang them together on a larger window or seperately on 2 smaller windows. Posted: 2:45 pm on January 23rd

junkermidge writes: My first thought was the ends/sides to a bench. But it would
need a little something more to sturdy it up. I'm guessing that they are chair backs. You have lots of options. They are great looking.

MimiToria writes: Great save. Hard to know the dimensions from the photo, but they look tall and skinny to me. My being a jewelry designer I immediately thought of a jewelry display piece. One could put scrabble tiles on the top flat area and write something cool there, and than on the lower flat area, add cup hooks, vintage hardware hooks, etc. and hang your jewelry from them. Or your scarves, or whatever else you need a place to display something.

upyourattic writes: They look like chair backs - they'd look really neat as side pieces to a book shelf if you could figure out the logistics of that...
Maybe a towel rack or apron rack or something to hold vintage fabrics if turned horizontally??

Lots of possibilities! Thanks for sharing again!

suewhitney writes: I'm not sure of the dimensions, but looks like they could become a cool hall table. One for each end with a wood top and one shelf attached at the bottom salt. The possibilites are endless her, please let us know what you come up with.

Happy creating,
