One of my closest friends recently lost her mother and I needed to find a way to deal with my own sadness. I put this gal together as a gift to her.
The quote reads: "To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die." - Thomas Campbell
The very special quote is housed in a vintage cookie cutter Georgia collected for me.
Her body is created using a rice masher, her base is made from faucet knobs and her arms are old wire from a light fixture. Her hands and sleeves came from an old typewriter.
The most important thing (for me) was to capture her wonderful sun hat. I did so using old paint roller tops.
