estate sale cupboard gets BUILT IN
January 28th, 2009 in member junkI Found this old cupboard at an estate sale a few months ago. The wood was pretty rough, but it had gorgeous original wavy glass doors. It needed some TLC, but the price was right $250. I decided it would be a great display piece for my yellow ware bowl collection, and I had to have it for my kitchen. My husband (the saint) carried this monster in. It was a close fit - whew!
I recently had crown molding installed to the top to make it look like it has been in my kitchen for 100 years. I painted it creamy white and use it for my collection of vintage bowls. It fit perfectly between my pantry door & hall. It goes well with my simple farmhouse kitchen.
