estate sale cupboard gets BUILT IN

I Found this old cupboard at an estate sale a few months ago.  The wood was pretty rough, but it had gorgeous original wavy glass doors.  It needed some TLC, but the price was right $250.  I decided it would be a great display piece for my yellow ware bowl collection, and I had to have it for my kitchen.  My husband (the saint) carried this monster in.  It was a close fit - whew!

I recently had crown molding installed to the top to make it look like it has been in my kitchen for 100 years.  I painted it creamy white and use it for my collection of vintage bowls.  It fit perfectly between my pantry door & hall.  It goes well with my simple farmhouse kitchen.

I went to a yard sale once and this lady was selling her old yeloow bowls for $2.00 each. I bought 2 of her yellow ware bowls and later found out how popular they are. I was sorry I didn't buy the rest. Yours look really country in the cabinet. Very nice. Posted: 10:28 pm on February 1st

for sharing your great find.
