Repete in Repose with his ball Wilson -- A Garden Mosaic Vignette
January 17th, 2009 in blog, member junkHow could I not name him Repeat? I mean, RePete? Ummm...
The children mosaic'd rocks in primary colors, two still need grouting (yikes, my fingers are throbbing with cuts...can I do it; can a group of 3-5 year olds do it)?
Anyway, this puppy's finished! Wish I had a nice stretch of green grass for display; he'll be at the Georgetown, Texas Community Center for display/purchase at the Community Montessori School Oak Tree Auction on February 6th. Hope he'll fetch a few dollars!
Thanks for all of your kind remarks, this was much more time consuming than originally imagined. Enouragement helps!

Attention! Re-Pete and Wilson are done. This is another fun member highlight. Bridie has been working on this creation for awhile and has been kind enough to take us along on the journey. This project is also going on the auction block for a good cause. Great job, Bridie! I'm sure he'll fetch more than a few dollars.... Congrats!
Take care,

I’m always amazed at this type of creation/sculpture. When I break a tile or something ceramic it gets tossed in the trash…you turn it into beautiful art. Posted: 12:23 pm on January 17th
