My sister is having a baby in March. I am hosting her baby shower shortly. I needed some 8" wide cake stands for the dessert table. I made them using a cocktail shaker cup and an industrial vent cap. Once attached with epoxy I gave them a spray with some stainless steel appliance paint and attached a little vintage silk flower. I am going to top them with paper doilys and little cakes. They were super cheap to make - under $4.00 each.

I think it is going to be a boy - I will let you know!
