I have been having fun making these pendents out of vintage buttons. If you would like a treasure for yourself or a gift contact me at

CottageElements writes: Awesome job on the button necklaces, Ann! They look like they'd be fun to create. I might need to have Gretchen give me a class! Ha!! Don't worry, Gretchen, they won't be good enough to sell!! LOL! Thanks for sharing them with us!

I used to make wearable art for over 15 years and then took a break from it to try my hand on larger recycled goods. To say I LOVE this piece and your other pendents is a given. I hope you have as much fun as I did, making jewelry out of vintage buttons and other goods. I never went the pendent route (now I wish I would have, seen how your pieces look)- only pins, bracelets and earrings, so this is fun to see what others do. Not sure if I am ready to give up all my vintage buttons just yet, but if I ever do, I know who to go to (Gretchen, you are included in that remark as well!). Keep up the good work. Hope to see more. gailmarie, bfa Posted: 6:36 pm on April 25th

Thanks for emailing me and letting me know you were able to get time to post some of the button pendants like the one you purchased from me in January. Sounds like you've had fun making them. Good luck selling.
They look good. Nice warm colors.
