These bracelets I made out of old necklaces from my grandma, I used an old button for the clasp.
The top one I made first, then on Christmas Eve day while waiting for my daughter to come home I started making the one with the pearls, crystal and black beads for her and it just happened to match the outfit she wore for christmas eve.

MimiToria writes: Ann- this was one of the first things I did when I started making jewelry. : ) It brings back fond memeories. Kind of tricky getting the lengths correct and being sure the wires all got crimped in together. Making it with Grandma's jewelry is so very fun. I started my jewelry business 12 years ago with Grandmas jewelry and now I'm going back to that styling again. Great job!

It made me consider doing something similar with a vintage brooch (sp.?) Do you think that would work?

My mind is racing.....
