I picked up this door from an old pie safe at an auction for next to nothing and made magnets out of old buttons.  I just loved the patina.  It hangs by my back door for reminder messages.

CottageElements writes: What an awesome piece! Love, love, love it! I'm sure it's not easy to come by these. And a pefect repurpose for it. Wonder if you could simply make one from an old window and vintage tin tiles? The mind is spinning. Thanks for sharing!

MimiToria writes: Marty this is absolutely wonderful and so creative to take the door off the cabinet and repurpose it for a memo board. It is authentic, useful and looks fabulous too. Thanks for sharing your projects. I'm sorry about your husband being ill, but I am thankful that you have your junk to help you destress.
There is a member of this site that was doing a study on the positive health rewards of junking, and once again in your case this is true for you.
Take care-

kmayflowers writes: Marty, I love this & saw it in a teenagers room last month. What a great idea, she had pictures on hers. I just noticed your chair that I'd missed earlier. I just can't throw away a broken chair of my moms. So I think I'll cut it up & give it back to her this way. Cute. My thoughts are with you daily cause I know how hard it can be sometimes. You are right about destressing. Posted: 10:33 am on January 9th
