A Window with a re-Purpose!
January 7th, 2009 in member junkWelcome to LeAnntiques with Friends.
You are now looking into our front window, as you enter our 'Cozy' Hopkins MN shop.
Our '11 Day Market' Window for January, has captured our vision of a 'Winter Lodge Scene'. . . .And within this 'Winterplace Window', you will catch sight of some wintry re-purposed makeovers, which have found a new life here.
A 6-pane window sash that has been stencil soaped with snowflakes; as we gaze through, it gives us a view of our Minnesota Wonderland. This simple embellishment to an old window can add some 'Wintry White' pleasure in a home (or office) space.
Our Rusty Old Snow Shovel that we painted with O P E N, and most times can be seen out front of the shop, has been retired from the job of snow removal, and now offers 'Greetings To Our Friends'.
Here is one of my favorite reclaims . . . What once was a very short, very old, very patched and repaired toboggan, has been transformed into a very 'Cabin Charming, and Functional Friendly', wall bookshelf. With 2 wood shelves and 2 wire coat hooks below the lower shelf, this primitive remnant of past winters sports, now sports a new life in our Cabin Window.
We invite you to come visit us during our '11 Day Market', and to see what other 'Makeover Wonders' you might find inside our doors. The hot apple cider is on, and we'd love the honor of your company. Our '11 Day Market' begins on Thursday January 8th, 2:00pm till 7:00pm, and then for the next ten consecutive days, we O P E N (remember the snow shovel). All days start at 9:30am except Sunday when we are here at 11:00am. 5:00pm is the end of our shop day at LeAnntiques (unless we're having to much fun yakking).
FYI: LeAnntiques with Friends '11 Day Market' begins on Thursday January 8th, and continues everyday through Sunday January 18th, 2009.
