an old window with wallpaper border behind the glass, some old shutters salvaged from someone elses junk, added black handles, hinges and knobs from a lumber store, a friends brother made me the shelf, which I painted cream and used antiquing gel to make it look old. At Christmas time I love to add other touches to make it stand out.

another Michigander). Have fun!

FunktionalJunk writes: How smart using the wallpaper behind the window to give a "view"! Wouldn't that be a great idea for a room that doesn't have any real windows? And you have decked the whole thing out so nicely. Wonderful work!
