I think this is my favorite of all my projects. I don't know why (and my husband certainly doesn't agree). It's just fun. It's a gossip bench constructed from old ladder sections. Two people occupy it, but the seats face in opposite directions. Originally I tried making one with 2 chairs facing the opposite directions. That went nowhere fast and decided I neeeded something very straight and square and came upon the idea of the ladders.

It would look great sitting outside in a garden area or near the front door, but it could also work indoors. Some people have also referred to it as a "make-up" bench, the idea being an angry couple sitting on the bench at first face away from each other but eventually make-up. Either way, it's just fun!
