I saw the legs of this old paper mache carousel horse sticking out of a dumpster in Amarillo, Tx and I had to rescue it!  I used spray-painted PVC pipe for the "pole", a $4 lamp wiring kit, an old lamp shade decoupaged with rose-print paper, some old pink satin ruffle-trim off an old shower curtain, and of course...a feather boa!

FunktionalJunk writes: Thank you! At first I didn't know what it was...I just saw the little legs sticking out. It wasn't in bad shape and it already had the hole cut through it. I actually made it with a friend's daughter in mind...her room is very pink and rosy and shabby chic and I knew it would be perfect.
