Suitcase Parts
May 7th, 2009 in member junkAfter seeing a picture of some suitcase "pockets" attached to a board, this is the idea I came up with. I took an old Samsonite suitcase and cut out the divider that separates the two sides, I used that for the background. I added some lace on both sides and the top. I used the luggage straps, buckles and all, next to the lace on both sides (nice place to tuck in some old postcards). I used the luggage handle at the bottom along with the original Samsonite label. I added some old jewelry amd tucked treasures in the pocket. It even came with its own 2 holes at the top to hang it on the wall.

Now I know why I picked up the last 3 suit cases I saw going for a mere "free" price tag. Posted: 10:53 pm on June 1st
Wow! I also saw the pic of the suitcase pocket - you've cranked it up a notch! Love the way you've combined all of the suitcase elements into this!
