Christmas Lamp
December 19th, 2008 in member junkThe shape and patina of this old Red Bucket was calling out for some kind of Christmas creation...like a lamp shade. So without buying anything new and just using the junk in my shop I put together my “Festivus Lamp”.
The base is a vintage Christmas tree stand. The lamp shaft is a wood dowel painted to look like a candy cane. The ring portion from an old lamp shade was installed in the bucket so it could be attached to the harp. The power cord is a set of vintage Christmas lights.
Pattern or design used: My own design

It didn’t matter what is was originally used for. Then second I saw it I knew what I wanted to do with it.
Thanks and keep creating! Posted: 7:54 am on December 21st
