I found this Flexible Flyer sled today at one of the local thrift shops for $25. Not sure if it was an awesome deal or not because Ive seen them cheaper, but Ive also seen them priced higher so who knows??? But I've been wanting one for a while because I think they like so nice decorated for Christmas. It reminds me of all the snow in NY awaiting me when I go home in a couple days.

The white rocking chair was found months ago for $5 at the same thrift shop. The quilt was given to me by my boyfriend's parents. The lantern w/ candle was given to me by my aunt last year. The pinecones were given to me by the trees in my yard-    ha ha.

Perfect for Christmas in the country, on the farm.

piecesofthepast writes: This looks exactly like the sled on my porch, even the embellishments are the same. I took a pair of little girl's skates and draped over the edge. When I say little, I mean little...they are for a girl of about 3 or 4 years old..very cute find at Goodwill a few years ago! You will love decorating with your sled! Posted: 9:59 pm on December 19th

Your porch looks Christmas cozy! Love that.
