More Whimsy

More results from playing around with old dishes; they are just too pretty to hide in a cabinet.  I find almost everything at thrift stores and flea markets, and items like the fairy are from the dollar store.  I love sitting surrounded by my large, and still growing, collection of saucers, cups, etc. and trying different combinations.  I have Christmas whimsies, spring whimsies, a couple of wedding whimsies, so, as you can see, it is only limited by your imagination.  If you decide to make some yourself, and I hope you do, just mix and match until it looks right and before you know it, you will as obsessed as I am.

Welcome to JUNKMARKET Style! I'm a lover of old dishes too and agree whole heartedly that they should not be hidden away. Love the different and creative options you have presented here. Very beautiful! I did a similar project with the roses in my new book that comes out in March at a tea for two setting. Thanks s much for sharing and I look frward to seeing more of your creations.

Take care,
