bits and pieces collage utilizes a chunk of wood from my hubby's workshop (aged further by poking a phillips head screwdriver into it and some sanding), old pattern pieces, a keyboard key, an old wooden heart and some gears...scrapbook paper and oh, did I mention that I get all of my paint (by the gallon) free?  Our recycle center collects on the first tuesday of each month, then puts it in a little shed for folks like me to pour over on saturday and sunday.  voila...a priceless piece.

JunkMama1 writes: This is awesome! It reminds me of a project I made recently - where I used an upside down glass candle holder and some felt and made a coaster. You could easily do something similiar if you cut your scrapbook paper in a circle and then added your artistic touches! You seem to have a real nack for making junk look beautiful! MelHow writes: A lovely collage. I like simplicity in collages and this is sweet. I think that I want to suggest that our recycling center do that. Posted: 8:03 pm on December 18th
