Meet Skylos (pronounced Skee lows). His name means 'dog' in greek. We also call him 'Skeeter' which seems to fit right in with the Minnesota lingo! He is definately better than the other kind of skeeter so common in our neck of the woods!

For the collar I used: a belt made from a reclaimed vintage wool blanket, a vintage canteen covered with a wrap made from an old army blanket and piece of old red felt, a canning jar lid, and a big sparkly 'S'.
To make sure the 'S' stayed nice and sparkly and didn't fall off the lid I applied a couple coats of Mod Podge. Then to attach the lid to the o-ring on the belt, I used a drill to put a small hole in the top edge of the lid, and then used a key ring to loop them together.
Here is a better look at the collar on Skylos.

Skylos and his collar are beautiful!!!!!! You did a great job repurposing several junk items for his collar. I love your use of the canning jar lid as well as the army blanket!!!!!!
