Antique Mahogany Chair

I found this mahagony chair at a flea market in St. Paul.  The poor little chair was loose in just about every joint and the finish was all scraped up.  The man I purchased it from told me that it was his mother's chair and it had been sitting in an attic for years.  He sold it to me for $5 and I reassured him that I would take good care of it.  My husband refinished the wood and I upholstered it in a beautiful embroidered microsuede.  I used fabric from my business:  The chair is now beautiful once again.

Junk_Sophisticate writes: $5.00!!!??? Wow! Even though it was worse for wear when you found it, that is still a great price for a piece like that. You did an amazing job restoring it to it's original beauty.
