Hi all, this is a wall shelf I made from some old lap board I found and a ceiling tin.

We bought 150 tins, (great deal), for the 34 we need to do our kitchen  ceiling. I sold all but a few not in great shape. Worked out, got what we needed plus Christmas money and helped a few people with restoreing old homes. Anyway, this shelf is about 32" wide by about 40" tall. I just built a simple frame, added the shelf and tin, presto, its really cool.

PS. I built this as a x-mas gift but Lisa loves it so I guess it will stay with us.

We found the tins on Craigslist, a cool funny young lady of 76 years old had pulled them out of an old school house in Bonham Texas.
She used what she needed and sold me the rest.
Be next year before I get to my ceiling, we bought a older home and have tons to do before we get there. Posted: 1:25 pm on December 17th
