A Merry Christmas Conservatory - revisited...
December 17th, 2008 in member junkHere's my conservatory full of vintage holiday cheer! So many great old figurines and a perfect place for them to be for the holidays! Lots of carolers, and the red bell on the left side actually is an old wind-up musical bell - so that adds to the festivities going on here...
Merry Christmas everyone!!
Kathy

Thanks for your comments - this is such a fun piece to redo, redo, and redo again...
Here are the measurements: it's 32" in length, 18" wide, and almost 24" high at the peak. The width is from side to side - not including the points of the roof sticking out. Good luck with yours - - I'd love to see what you come up with!!

Could you please share the actual(or close) size of yours? At first it looked small and then I followed the post to your "beach view" and it looks bigger than I first thought.
Thank you for sharing this. Both versions I've seen are gorgeous. I can't wait to see your other seasonal themes.

Geo - I know you'll get your conservatory put together (and I can't wait to see it) - and the springtime will be perfect - for the spring I start with vintage garden stuff, bunnies and goodies for spring/Easter, and then right "back to the beach" for the summer - and, it's never exactly the same - since collections seem to come and grow...I mean go (oops - slipped there, didn't I??)...
A conservatory kind of thing could always be made/repurposed out of something different - like maybe an old fish aquarium (no building required...).
Janis, come on over - I've got plenty to share!! :)

PS Notice that I did not whine once in this whole post? Do you think I have gotten over the fact that I still don't have a conservatory...not a chance...I'm being patient (not my strong suit) but I haven't forgotten. Springtime...yeah that's it...Springtime. Posted: 3:11 pm on December 17th
