It’s fun to create home décor on a budget that originates from discarded or soon to be discarded items.  Recycled, upcycled, or reclaimed wood pallets are a great example. This patio bench/table was simple and easy to create.  Using a little leftover chalk paint, I painted, sanded (for that reclaimed, weathered look) and then stained it with a dark antique walnut stain.  Once dry, I added a coat of polyurethane.  I used most of the entire pallet for this project!
