Shes a beauty!  Actually, she was very dirty and it took me quite awhile to clean and spray a couple layers of poly on, but she tired out perfect.
Who couldnt use more storage in their kitchen, bath, office, etc?
I added a metal number I had in my stash - just because.
Perfect color, grey, fit in our kitchen/dining decor, so I decided to leave the color but it could easily be sprayed with any color to go in any room.
I added a chalkboard sign I had to the side.
Another embellishment...
Then, at a junk sale in Carrington last summer before we moved, I found a neat old cloth shopping bag I turned into a pillow.  I tucked the handles inside before sewing up though, in case I change my mind and decide it needs to be a hand bag someday!  The stamped color was a perfect match.  Its very special since it has our previous hometown name on it.

When we moved into our new home (which is 1,300 less square feet then our previous house), any storage I can find that works, I go for it!

ChristopherJames writes: I have always wanted an industrial storage locker for my house! I think it will look pretty classy having a vintage piece of furnishing in the living room. Of course it needs a little touching up but I think all the efforts would be well worth it. Posted: 10:00 pm on May 25th
