Vintage Button Dog Collar
December 16th, 2008 in member junk‘Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a basset hound.
The collar was sewn with vintage buttons with care,
In hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.
A swatch of plaid curtain fabric was nestled all snug to his collar,
While visions of dog treats danced in his head,
And seven buttons in a row and a smaller one atop to match,
Had just settled down for a one of a kind collar.
