Crystal the Christmas Angel
December 15th, 2008 in member junkThis is one of my grand dogs. She is a Chabass. Her daddy was a basset hound and her mother was a chihuahua. I named her Crystal otherwise my son would have named her dog.
First I took off the collar she always wears which to her means its time to take a shower. She ran off. I covered the collar with a beautiful wired gold ribbon with gold beaded edging. Then I sewed on the ruffled gold ribbon around the edges.
The wings came off a metal angel I found on a trash pile last year. It was missing an arm and I thought I would repair it. After a year I decided to throw it away but kept the wings, halo and other parts. So I thought I'd incorporate the wings on Chystal's collar. It was hot glued onto the ribbon.
But she still needed more bling so I took off her rabies tag and added the crystals onto the ring where the tag had been.
I think she is beautiful and she got a slice of 100% wheat bread for a treat.
