I ran across this old locker set a while back and the doors had a fair amount of rust on the bottoms and they wouldn't release to let me open them.  So the metal grinder and I went to work on the set to cut off the hinges and take the doors off.  From that point on it was planned to make them into some sort of storage space.  The vintage metal, wire gym locker baskets fit perfectly up top.  I made custom wood shelves and cubby bases.  A vintage house number set (beaded glass number plates) adorn the center.  Now it's ready for a mud room, entry way, man cave, laundry room or just about any room in the house!

MarkSindone writes: That locker looks like it could've been taken straight out of an abandoned stadium or something. It actually looks really nice and kinda like a vintage piece that could have actually been used as storage by a football or some other team in the locker room. Not too sure how the effect will keep when you start putting things in it though! Posted: 11:45 pm on March 5th

What I have in mind, I've seen, they are a U or horseshoe shape, small lockers, with a hanging rail in the center. But, they were too pricey - in an antique shop so they have a retail price. What you have done is great! Hope I can find something along the same line :) Posted: 6:27 pm on December 1st
