Large toy horse from thrift shop $4
Mane and tail matted and tangled.
I lathered plaster of paris through the mane and tail. Allowed to dry.
Then added outdoor caulk over the plaster for a new mane and tail. Allowed to dry thoroughly.
Then spray painted with an all surface outdoor paint for a base. After dried, added a bronze exterior paint for a cast iron or bronze texture.

I love horses and this thrift shop toy horse came home with me. Because of its size I had no place for it. But I did outside. So I converted it into a garden sculpture. After several storms and severe heat waves, the horse still looks great after its redo.

I used plaster of paris, caulk, and 2 spray paints.
