Do you see what I see?
An old oil can, a silver lighter (to light up your life) and a rock.  Fa la la la la,
At this end...candy shoe forms!  Shoes & stockings!
I found this little brass base for 50 cents at a garage sale and the tray for 75 cents,  put some books in the middle for stability and youve got a side table.
More garage sale treasures.

Do you see what I see?

For christmas decorations this year I pulled out some Deer Vases  and snipped some greens, added the stockings made from a tattered heirloom quilt, and  some junk.

I have been finding the vintage Christmas candles (tall olive green ones) everywhere.  I just pull off the tacky plastic poinsettia and stick those on a gift.

Everything in my house is repurposed, except for the leather sofa.  It's the only thing I've ever bought new!

suewhitney writes: Very well done Chosmosw! I love all of the things that you have rescued and the stylish way you have put them all together. It is indeed what I call perfect imperfection...and that's a good thing! Taking well worn items and making them look beautiful is a true art form. Kudos!

Happy Holidays,

nutbird writes: I've never seen a crazy quilt baby ball before (on tray with books and wheels from a garage sale.) Did you make it? Large ones like that would look good in a basket or bowl and even larger ones (which are easier to make) would be great under the tree. Love your displays, especially your mirror over the mantel Posted: 1:56 pm on December 19th

Junk_Sophisticate writes: This all looks so nice. Who would have thought that a brass table base, a tray and some books could make a cool little table? Why, you did! That's how our minds work around here, huh? Thank goodness for that.

Fantastic decor.
