I often forget to photo graph the steps leading up to the finished project. But it started out with an old chipped oval shaped basin that I couldnt grown anything in. So I put down a layer of small stones. Then I took pieces of big chunks of wood from an old tree trunk and added that as background scenery. I put some sticks here and there in the basin. i found a bag of spanish moss that would give it an aged old run down fairy house and finally use my incense tree as he has been recycled for many Halloween displays. Also found a cloth mushroom that had fallen out of my cornecopia but decided to give that as well another life and there came my fairy garden. Less than 20 minutes to find objects and cost is nothing.

i HAVE MANY CONTAINERS THAT DON'T GROW FLOWERS WELL SO i TEND TO KEEP A FEW UNTIL SOMETHING INSPIRES ME. lATELY i HAVE BEEN SING FAIRY GARDENS AND i FOUND USE FOR THIS CHIPPED ENAMEL OBLONG WHITE DISH. I LAYERED THE BOTTOM WITH SOME STONES AND BROKE APART SOME OF THE TREE TRUNK WE HAVE AND USED THAT STANDING UP IN THE STONES AS A BACKDROP. I HAD PLENTY OF SPANISH MOSS FROM OLD PROJECTS AND EVEN A MUSHROOM FROM A THANKSGIVING CORUCOPIA AND PLACED THEM AL IN. iT WOULD NOT BE COMPLET IF i DIDN 'T ADD MY INSENCE TREE THAT HAS SEEN OTHER LIVES TOO IN HALLOWEEN DISPLAYS. NEXT THIG IT ALL STARTED TO COME TOGETHER. FAIRIES ARE TAKING A NAP IN CASE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THEM.
