Happy little flowers in a field of green grass.
The planter all put together in its home in the garden.
A blend of old, new, and organic. A vintage plant stand in beautiful green, a perfectly patinaed silver tray, and two tins of different sizes.
I love the detail that layering provides. Lots to look at...squirrel!
Just another view.
I planted the little tin inside the big tin before I planted the wheat grass. Peek-a-boo!
I needed the tray because my tin was not quite large enoigh for the plant stand. As most of you know I all about layering!
If you want to tuck the tin right into the garden you can do that too. It is a nice little surprise popping out of the Hosta

Loft living leaves you with less of a green space so I decided to create a "lawn" of sorts in my garden with wheat grass planters. This is the first of 3 easy ideas using grass. When it's close to spent you can use it in your smoothie. Cheers!
