Unless you make this cool coffee table! Everyone wants to know what to do with that old surfboard once it's seen its' last wave. Well, not really, but my college junior son is moving into his apartment with 3 other scholars and needed a different kind of table to enhance his "study skills." So we assembled all the necessary parts: 1 old friendly surfboard leaning on bedroom wall for years, check. Pipes, flanges, bolts, & wood, check, check, check, & check. Oh, and 1 sleeve of red cups for later, check. After one sunny afternoon, our project was completed and ready to start its' college academic journey.  The best was that the sum of all these parts really exceeded our simplest of expectations, that of a lifelong father/son memory, and the spark ignited in my son's eyes to make something beautiful and give new life to an old friend. Enjoy!
