Memory tree
December 13th, 2008 in member junkI have wired my dad's 1953 license plate from his old truck to a metal bucket. My dad was a fitness fanatic and ran many marathons and triathalons. I have cut the red ribbons off of the metals he won competing and tied them on the tree in little thin strips. I then took some thin wire and hung his medals. Also I have put an old "cold" faucet fixture at the top of the tree. My dad loved the cold. He was always out running when the rest of us were bundled up. A very cool rememberance for me and my family.

Very cool with the license plate on the painted galvanized pail too. It really shows up well.
Well done my friend!

This is to me what it is all about -- remembering! Your father is part of all you do...and his memory will always be for a blessing.
Happy Holidays,
