Dress Your Lampshade

I had a nice silk lampshade that was too good to replace but I wanted to change the color. I had seen where others had used a sweater to make a cover and decided to try it. I looked at several thrift stores before finding a stretchy top that was the coral color I like and it had some style, too. I cut across the garment under the sleeves and stretched what was left over the shade. No glueing or sewing involved. How easy!
