Found this adorable fairy sitting on a shoe at the thrift store last week..sooo cute!!
After bleaching the trees I hot glued some large beads I had onto the branches & added a little Christmas tag.
The little cup that the tree is sitting in is a vintage AVON ?candle holder that my grandma had kept thru the years.

Love your idea with the vintage teacups....I saw that in a magazine once as well. The little cup that my tree is sitting in came from my grandma's things....turned the other way it holds a tapered candle. It is marked AVON on the bottom.

Gretchen.....I painted on glue with a paint brush and then sprinkled the glitter on...I don't really like the spray glue as it seems to stay sticky whenever I use it. I liked using the hot glue gun for the baubles as they dry immediately so you don't have to fiddle.
Georgia...you are so sweet....I just love setting up vignettes for the pictures....would like to take some photography classes..that's another on my list of to-dos!!!

Did you use spray glue for the glitter? What works best also to glue on the pearls or mini balls on these trees.
They are awesome and so very cool Janis.
