I gave her a jar of furniture tacs in case she needed to add more storage above what she was given
Fun pulls make for interesting display.
You can sort of see here I used two nails on the inside of the frame at the bottom for rings. Im sure there are planty more ideas for rings display out there - but it was a simple solution. Also the curtain finial was added for either funky rings or bracelets as well

A quick guide to make this. I used a few 2 x 2's to make a frame that was the same size as the little window. Once that was secured together - I used left over Lath from some reno scraps and secured them across the back. Then I added hinges and a little glass knob on the front and gave her a lock and key to secure it.  Add whatever bits and bobs inside make you happy, paint the backing or stain it if you like. Darker backings generally create a nice dramatic contrast to show off your fine pieces. We were looking for more of a subtle shabby in this case though.
