Capture the light... Not the critters!

Digging in a dark basement on a recent junking adventure I came across a stash of several, handmade, OLD animal traps. I adored their form and scale and various patterns of wire. I NABBED them!

Once home I scrubbed them down & removed the "trapping" mechanisms. I spray coated them with poly to preserve their patina. Once dry, I dug through my wood scrap bin for pieces and parts to pair them with. My partner Brad cut some barn board scraps to size and we unearthed a couple architectural elements for stands. Combine them all and you have one of a kind, repurposed "hurricanes" for your "JUNKOLIDAY" table! Cheers!
