I know it's been done before - sewing machine bases for legs. BUT I haven't had the pleasure yet. I had stumbled across some nice wide boards that I just loved and saved one especially for this project, should the day come I found the legs I love. I took it apart carefully and luckily the peddle still rotates the giant wheel thing underneath. So it's FUN too! the top draweres were missing on the sie drawers, so we added little baskets with separators inside for small tidbits. It looks wonderful now!

Thanks!

They are so sturdy and so cool to look at, I imagine we'll be seeing lots more of these from you that look great just like this piece. Posted: 6:25 pm on December 2nd
shabbychick writes: Beautiful! Love the legs AND the rustic wood on top - great combination. It looks like it would make a sweet sofa table...or an anywhere kind of table!

Very nice!

Thanks for sharing.
