The Tree Built From Lincoln Logs

We have all seen them at flea markets and yard sales. This one came from an estate auction.
I screwed the bottom of the tree to two pieces of pine that I used to reinforce the base.
I drilled holes in the Lincoln Logs and used a dowel rod and Gorilla Glue to ensure the base would stay together.
When I got to the point where I knew the tree would clear the roof line, I added in the reinforced layer.
