Side Table from Found Sled

I'm sorry the pictures are so dark- the flash on my camera cannot compete with winter mornings.

I found this antique sled on the side of the road in Maine, ready for the trash truck! The wood was very discolored from the elements, so I decided to paint it white rather than try to sand it, strip it, and then re-stain it. (I'm lazy.)


I found the little stool for 99 cents at Salvation Army, and just painted the legs red so they'd match the sled runners and blend in.


I know someone else on this site did basically the same project but I don't remember whom.   .  .


It was really easy, and it'll be great for Christmas time. :)
