This hinge holds the shelf in place.
And I added a hinge to the back for hanging.
Some hardware is functional...
...and some just for fun.
This cutter had more blade than some Ive seen.  It is magnetic, perfect for photos and notes.

When I saw this kraut cutter at the Country Junk Sale I knew just what it would be.  This one had more blade than some...perfect for a memo station.  With the addition of some rusty/chippy hradware in all the right places.  It now is funtional and fun in my kitchen.  We buy our kraut in a jar here :)

This is super cool and what you have done with it is amazing! I just want to know...how much "kraut cutting" goes on up there in MN??? I don't think that is something that I am going to find in California or Wyoming! Sure would like to though. Seems like you could do a million different things with one of those. Love it!!!
